What the work is like
You'll be matched with one client at a time and become a familiar, trusted face in their day. Most shifts are inside assisted living communities in the Marietta area, where you'll help with getting up and dressed, bathing, walking to meals and activities, and simply keeping good company. Some clients are in private homes, where light housekeeping and meal preparation are part of the visit.
You'll keep short notes for the family after each visit and work alongside the community's nurses and staff. We look for people who are patient, observant, and warm, and who show up when they say they will.
What we ask
- 18 or older with reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- CNA or PCA certification is a plus, not required — we'll help you get there
- CPR and First Aid, or willingness to certify
- Genuine care for older adults
